What do I consider as spirituality?

It is our essence of being, some call it God, Jehova, Krishna, Allah, Buddha, Nature, Big bang...

But it doesn't really matter, it's all the same thing, the energy source of life, that set things in motion and exists within everything...

But what does it all matter?

I'm guessing we all have a pretty similar goal in life, to be happy and to find meaning in this space of time between being born, and dying. Otherwise, what's the point?

We work, eat, sleep, do things, but if we don't find a sense of pleasure in those things, then what are we really doing?

We can sometimes create amazing things that people really appreciate, but feel nothing.

We more often though, do things, which give us immediate reward and pleasure, and I'm not just talking about sex, drugs, and rock & roll... We constantly seek to attain the next pleasure we can find, but it never truly lasts.

I think our purpose in life is to serve, not just ourselves, but all life itself. And I think when we truly realise this, we are finally able to see how little our worries are - we are probably the only animal that constantly worries about trivial things. Why?

We have become somewhat neurotic in this society, where we worship money and success, but again, this is merely superficial. Disguised with expensive cars and multiple sex partners, great suffering is found.

To sum it up - if you want to be happy, help others. And if you want to help others - BE HAPPY.
